My name is Ronete Cohen and I am Educational Rescue.

I have a BA and MA in Psychology from Leiden University in the Netherlands.

Before starting Educational Rescue, I worked at Leiden University (carrying out research in educational psychology, as part of a team working to improve the

quality of academic courses, and more).

I am a member of the Dutch Institute of Psychologists (NIP: membership

no. 133781), the Dutch Association of Child and Youth Psychotherapists (VKJP:

membership no. 2005008), and the British Association for Counselling and

Psychotherapy (BACP: membership no. 653218).

I continue to learn, carefully selecting opportunities to train with leading experts

in the field.

I have attended and am still attending conferences, workshops and courses,

more recently on REBT interventions with children and adolescents, an STDP workshop and a long-term STDP individual training, and a 3-year English Core Training in EDT.

I am an expat like many of you, and have firsthand experience of different cultures.

I am originally from England.

I speak English (mother tongue), Hebrew (second mother tongue) and Dutch (fluently).
